It s been a long time (not my day, but even earlier), there was a game called Valis: The Fantasm Soldier who came out on PC. It was one of these horizontal scrolling games where you play a warrior who is also a high school student for any reason. There were some other games to complete the VALIS series, which saw additions like new playable characters. While the gameplay was not too impressive at the time, Valis: The Fantasm Soldier was very appreciated for its use of cinematics in the game, which were pretty special at the time. Edia announced that the Trilogie Valis will arrive on Nintendo Switch.
In addition to the release of these games on Nintendo Switch, PC versions will also be reprinted for a modern version. This campaign is funded by crowdfunding and should bear the fruits of their efforts later this year. Participatory financing contributors will receive t-shirts and coffee cups with original patterns printed on it, as well as thanks to the credits of the game. Although there are more than three Valis, Valis IV games were focused on the SNES in 1992 and is currently available to play on Switch via Nintendo Switch Online.
There is also vali x, which came out in 2006, but took an extreme gap compared to the roots of the series. In Valis X, the first four games are told in a form of visual novel with a ton of lesbian and sprawling sex. As much we would like to see this on the switch (for research purposes, of course), do not expect such a thing. Let s hope we will see the original Trilogy Valis on PC and Nintendo Switch later this year.
