After there were rumors that Codemaster’s Cheshire could be at the side of the next Need for Speed branch, Electronic Arts even announced the merger of the two studios.
Thanks to this measure, the presence criterions is doubled and the developer studio from now on with the original criterion team in Guildford and the Cheshire team will have two hubs to work under the leadership of General Manager Matt Webster on the future of Need for Speed.
